My name is Elizabeth, and I’ve been a pharmacist for over 11 years, with the past 8.5 years dedicated to hospital pharmacy. Every day, I collaborate with nursing and medical staff to piece together patients’ medication lists — a task that’s often difficult, time-consuming, and critical to providing safe care.

Too often, patients don’t have an up-to-date medication list with them. Papers get lost, forgotten, or outdated. That’s why I created RxTap — a simple, smart solution that puts your essential health information where it’s needed most: at your fingertips.

RxTap uses NFC technology to link a wearable wristband to a secure digital medication list or full health profile. With just a tap from a smartphone, your updated health information can be accessed instantly by you or those helping to care for you.

My hope is that RxTap empowers patients, improves communication in healthcare settings, and ultimately leads to safer, more informed care.
