How It Works
📲 How to Read NFC Tags with Your Device
Your RxTap wristband contains an embedded NFC (Near Field Communication) tag. This tag allows you to access your medication list or full health profile with just a tap of your phone!
Follow the instructions below based on your device type.

🔐 Security Tips for Your RxTap Profile
Your RxTap health profile is stored on a secure Notion page and accessed through a private link embedded in your wristband. To help protect your personal information, please follow these important guidelines:
- Treat your wristband like you would a medical ID or insurance card. It contains a link to your personal health information. Anyone who scans the wristband can view your profile.
- Keep your link private. Share your RxTap profile only with trusted individuals such as healthcare providers or emergency contacts.
- If your wristband is lost or stolen, contact us immediately. RxTap will deactivate the link associated with your wristband and assist you with a replacement, subject to any applicable replacement fees.
- Use a secure email account. Make sure your email is protected with a strong password and two-factor authentication.
- Review your information regularly. Let us know if your health information changes or if you suspect unauthorized access.
At RxTap, your safety and privacy matter. While we take every precaution to protect your data, your vigilance plays an important role too.
